Later, she worked at Flagship Bank, working her way up to AVP of Private Banking. Ellen loved to travel and read and late night games of Pitch with her family. She loved dogs, especially Newfoundlands, gardening and the beaches of Cape Cod, where she and her husband retired to and were fortunate to again find a supportive neighborhood community.
