Elizabeth A. Vadnais

BOYLSTON - Elizabeth “Betty” A. Vadnais, 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 27, 2016 after an illness. She was born in West Boylston, the daughter of Rene R. and Adele (Babeau) Vadnais and had lived in Worcester and Shrewsbury before moving to Boylston in 1978. Betty was a postal worker for 15 years at the West Boylston Post Office and enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, spending time on Cape Cod and playing games on her iPad. She is survived by Heidi J. Z. Rocheleau and her husband, Jonathan with whom she lived, Daryn Swallow of Hardwick, Derek Swallow and his wife, Jennifer of West Brookfield, Russell Rheaume and his wife, Tina of Connecticut, a close friend, Gail Smith of Boylston and a large extended family. Betty was predeceased by her life partner, Dorothy E. (Zumpfe) Lloyd in 1993.
