FRAMINGHAM – Elizabeth J. (Wetherhead) Charland, 51, of Framingham, died peacefully after an illness on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 in the VNA Care Hospice Residence at Coe’s Pond, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 25 years, Peter P. Charland III; her father Sidney B. Wetherhead and his wife Jeannine T. Wetherhead of Holden; her brother Stephen A. Wetherhead, his wife Debbie Wetherhead and their daughters Rachel and Lauren of Roswell, GA. Her mother M. Lucille (Vance) Wetherhead and her sister Catherine A. Wetherhead predeceased her.
Elizabeth was born in Boston, lived in several places in the US and abroad and then lived in Clinton for 14 years before moving to Framingham 5 years ago. She was a 1973 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and received a B.A. in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1977. Elizabeth owned and operated Information Transport Systems Consulting in Framingham, along with her husband Peter.
A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be private in Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, VT. A fund has been established in Elizabeth’s name to assist those in need.
