HOLDEN/PAXTON – Catherine E. (McGann) Livingston of Holden, 97, formerly of Asnebumskit Road in Paxton, died Monday, November 27, 2006 in Holden Nursing Home.
She leaves two daughters, Marjorie McCarthy of Rutland and Mary Regonini of Stamford, Connecticut; two brothers, Thomas M. McGann of Hollywood, Florida and William P. McGann of Princeton; a sister, Mary T. Jenza of Holden; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. Her son, Robert R. Livingston, died in 2002; five brothers, James, John, Owen, Michael and Bernard McGann, and two sisters, Helen Carlson and Margaret Johnson, predeceased her. She was born in Rutland, daughter of Michael F. and Mary (Carlson) McGann.
Mrs. Livingston worked for Worcester Press Aluminum for 20 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and loved to garden.
The funeral for Mrs. Livingston will be held on Thursday, November 30, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, in the funeral home.
