WEST BOYLSTON/PLAINVILLE – Elaine Sullivan, 89, formerly of Plainville, died peacefully at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of John and Ada (Wells) Sullivan. Raised in North Attleboro, Elaine later lived 30 years in Plainville before moving to West Boylston in 2008.
She graduated from N. Attleboro High School and worked many years at Balfour Company in Attleboro. She was a member of St. Mark’s Church in Plainville.
Elaine leaves four nephews and a niece, Gregory P. LaFlamme of Sterling, Glenn W. LaFlamme of Plainville, John and Neil Sullivan both of Phoenix and Virginia Wise of Tucson; several grandnieces and grandnephews; and several cousins in the Providence area.
Family and friends will honor Elaine by gathering for a visitation period from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 20, at the Miles Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling, followed by a procession to St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery in N. Attleboro.
