HOLDEN – Elaine G. (Cox) Crystoff, 82, of 94 Elmwood Avenue in the Jefferson section of Holden, died Thursday, September 1, 2005, after a short illenss.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, William J. Crystoff; two sons, John M. Crystoff of Holden and William R. Crystoff and his wife Vincenza of Lexington Park, Maryland; a daughter, Linda J. Pasquale and her husband Henry of Worcester; a sister, Anne Paulin of Pinellas Park, Florida; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A grandson, six brothers and sisters predeceased her. She was born in Baileyville, Maine, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Getchell) Cox, and has lived in Jefferson for 58 years.
Mrs. Crystoff was an Avon Representative for 25 years and worked at the Worcester Science Center. During World War II she was a welder at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. She adored cats and gardening.
A graveside service for Mrs. Crystoff will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the A.S.P.C.A. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20077-7127.
