HOLDEN – John E. Kudron, 78, of 558 Shrewsbury St., died surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 10, 2008, in Saint Vincent Hospital after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 52 years, Theresa E. (Spiewakowski) Kudron; two sons, David J. Kudron and his wife Sharon of Graham, North Carolina and John F. Kudron and his wife Vonda of Acworth, Georgia; a daughter, Brenda Lague and her husband Bryant Turner of Brookfield; a brother, Raymond Kudron of Worcester; a sister, June Gasperski of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Catherine, Kenneth, Kyra, Clifford, Alexandra, Christian and Matthew; and many extended family members. He was born in Worcester the son of John M. and Rose (Nawrocki) Kudron and lived 27 years in Webster and Dudley before moving to Holden in 1983.
Mr. Kudron graduated from Classical High School and Worcester Junior College, and owned and operated Royaline Realty in Oxford for 32 years. He was a member of St. George's Church in Worcester and was a World War II Army Veteran. He enjoyed Dixie Land Jazz, summers on Webster Lake, and spending time with family and friends. John was a devoted husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather. He had a quest for learning and a desire never to retire.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Mr. Kudron will be held on Thursday, February 14th, from the funeral home with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery, Webster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for Multiple Myeloma Research, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445; or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
