PALM BEACH GARDENS - Edward J. Solomon, affectionately known as Ed, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2023, at the age of 58. A man described as an angel and a jewel, he has embarked on another journey. Ed resided in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia, and was born and raised in Worcester, the devoted son of Herbert and Janet (Schultz) Solomon. He is survived by his loving mother, Janet Solomon; his cherished sister, Beth Solomon, her partner, Andrew Dagenhart, and their son, Robert; and numerous caring aunts, cousins, friends, and colleagues around the globe.
After graduating from Doherty Memorial High School, Ed attended Northeastern University School of Business in Boston, Massachusetts, earning degrees in Business Administration and Marketing/Management. Beginning his career in the touchscreen computer industry, he garnered top sales recognition with IBM in his first year and worked for numerous Fortune 500 Companies. Ed leaves behind a distinguished career legacy in direct sales, business development, expansions, solutions, and distribution channels.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ed was an avid skier, passionate golfer, and loved cruising and world travel. Known for his fun-loving nature, his life's mission was to assist others through kindness and generosity. Ed's ever-present smile and unwavering willingness to support and listen will forever be remembered.
Funeral Services will take place at 12:00 noon on Sunday, November 19th at Temple Emanuel Sinai, 661 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Interment will follow at B’nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Road, Worcester. Immediately following the interment service, the family invites everyone to a Memorial Observance Reception at Temple Emanuel Sinai. Memorial Observance will continue on Monday, November 20th from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm at Temple Emanuel Sinai, with a Minyan Service at 5:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edward's memory can be made to the American Heart Association and All Four Paws Animal Rescue Service at 708 Petigru Drive, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.
