Edward Leo Parady

June 30, 1939 — February 27, 2025

Edward L. Parady, 85, of West Boylston, passed away on February 27th, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. Born in Worcester to the late Leo and Lorraine (Bosse) Parady, Edward was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Sandra L. (Feccia), his daughter Leslie and her son Alex, his daughter Karen and her husband Mark, and their children Paige, Jack, and Andrew. Edward was also a proud great-grandfather to Blake, who always brought a sparkle to his eye. He is predeceased by a brother, Francis.

Edward spent most of his life living in Jefferson, before moving to Hubbardston and later West Boylston. Edward graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1958 and served his country as a veteran of the US Air Force (SAC) from 1958 to 1962, stationed in Abilene, TX. He worked at George Meyer Co. in West Boylston for 20 years as an all-around machinist before starting his own business as a general contractor.

Edward was passionate about classic cars and was formerly active in classic car clubs and shows, proudly showing his cherished red hotrod. He belonged to Corvettes United Car Club for 25 years and later joined North County Street Rods, after he became very interested in building his own rods. He also cherished his bi-weekly trips to Dunkin' Donuts, where he made many good friends.

Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A burial, with military honors, will be private at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edward's name to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741; the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087; or the Wounded Warriors Project at P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
