Biography
WORCESTER - Edward H. Cohen, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Auburn. Born and raised in Worcester, Edward was the son of the late Benjamin and Frieda (Drutz) Cohen.
He graduated from University of Massachusetts in Amherst and worked at R.H. White department store in Worcester as the store manager. He later worked for Marshalls department stores with the responsibility of managing new store operations. Edward was proud of his community and its heritage and was an active member and volunteer of Preservation Worcester.
Edward is survived by several cousins including Brenda Flamholtz of Lakewood, New Jersey whom he considered a sister.
A graveside service honoring Edward's life will be held privately at Holy Society Cemetery in Leicester under the direction of Miles Funeral Home in Holden. Memorial donations may be made to Preservation Worcester, 10 Cedar St., Worcester, MA 01609.
