PRINCETON – Edward Carl Cleveland, 41, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014. He was the son of Peter G. and Suzanna L. (Roberts) Cleveland, born at Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester on May 22, 1972.
He attended Thomas Prince Elementary School in Princeton and Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, later attending Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
He is survived by his mother and six siblings; Kenneth Cleveland and his wife, Jan Gottesman of Worcester, Peggy Sue Leclerc and her husband, Steve of Leominster, Belinda Lea Cringan and her husband, Peter of Gardner, Pete Cleveland of Leominster, Cora Mae Cleveland and Sarah Lynn Cleveland both of Princeton; a niece and goddaughter, Laura Leclerc of Leominster and a niece, Jennifer Sue Leclerc of Allston; a nephew, Adam Leclerc and his companion, Autumn Wendel of Leominster; and a grand niece, Avalee Leclerc of Leominster.
Edward was a dear friend to many. He enjoyed Facebook and playing games online with friends and relatives. He was an avid sports fan, following all of the New England teams and NASCAR.
His medical situation required he live where immediate response was available and so Kindred Transitional Care in Westborough became his home and many of the staff his friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, March 29, from 10 to 12 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m.in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A committal service will be held later in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery in Princeton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
