RUTLAND - Edward D. “Eddie” Bouché, 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2018 at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester after a long illness. He was born in Cambridge, the son of Albert J. and Teresa (Campbell) Bouché and had lived in Rutland for over 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 40 years, Naomi (Dunne) Bouché; his son, Joseph Bouché of Rutland; his daughter, Sarah Suprenant and her husband, Carl of Leicester; his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Fisher and her husband, Sterling of P.E.I., Canada and Frances “Franny” Galczynski of Texas and P.E.I., Canada; his brother, Robert Bouché and his wife, Kathleen of Revere; his grandchildren, Clara and Connor Suprenant; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Eddie graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School with the class of 1971. He married his wife Naomi in 1977 and the couple lived in Waltham before settling in Rutland. Eddie had a passion for cooking and music, enjoying a wide array of music and was always eager to share favorites. He had a vast knowledge of computers and technology frequently helping friends solve their computer issues. Above all he cherished spending time with family and friends making all around him laugh with his quick wit and fantastic sense of humor.
The Bouché family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at 3 Lakeside Stepdown Unit at UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 27th at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 28th at St. Patrick's Church, 290 Main Street, Rutland.
