HOLDEN – Edna M. (Sellar) Runvik, 92, formerly of Meadow Wood Drive, died Sunday, May 8, 2005, in Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Home in Worcester, following a long illness.
Her husband of 55 years, Kenneth C. Runvik, died in 1998. She leaves her brother, Donald C. Sellar and his wife Frances of Westborough; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Elizabeth, Wilson and Gordon Sellar. She was born in Worcester, daughter of James and Agnes (Hutchison) Sellar, and lived in Worcester before moving to Holden over 45 years ago. She was a graduate of North High School and Becker College.
Mrs. Runvik was the office manager for R&H Machinery in Worcester for many years. She was a life-long member of Greendale People’s Church and it’s Proto Club.
The funeral service for Mrs. Runvik will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, in the Greendale People’s Church, 25 Francis Street, Worcester. Burial will be at 1 p.m.on Thursday, May 12, in Grove Cemetery, 1290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greendale People’s Church, P.O. Box 60074, Worcester, MA 01606. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
