LEOMINSTER – Edith M. (Havlin) McNiven, 86, died Saturday, November 6, 2004.
Her husband of 48 years, Neal L. McNiven, died in 1993. She leaves a son, Andrew R. and his wife Deborah H. McNiven of Acton; a daughter, Heather A. and her husband Jeffrey H. King of Princeton; a sister, Ellen Waring of Canada; four grandchildren, Lindsay and Justin King and Mark and Nira McNiven. A sister, Ruby Hamer, predeceased her. She was born in Montreal, Canada, daughter of John and Ruby (McKenna) Havlin, and lived in Northborough and Shrewsbury for many years before moving to Leominster.
Mrs. McNiven was the Co-founder of Organomation Inc. in Berlin. She was a member of Lakeview Congregational Church and was a talented piano player.
A Memorial service for Mrs. McNiven will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Burial will be private.
