HOLDEN – Michael D. Salluce, 33, of the Jefferson section of Holden, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011 at UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus in Worcester after a sudden illness.
He leaves his father, Michael J. Salluce of Jefferson; two brothers, Matthew A. Salluce and his girlfriend Jennifer Lake of Worcester and Benjamin J. and Flavia Salluce and their daughter Lana of Shrewsbury; grandparents, Carmen and Irma Salluce of West Boylston; two aunts, Anne Sherblom and her husband Doug of Holden and Paula Howard and her husband Milo of West Boylston; an uncle, Rich Salluce and his wife Delia of West Boylston; and many cousins.
He was born in Worcester, the son of late Linda J. (Lopardo) Salluce and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. He worked at Banana Joe's for 2 years. He also worked at A&R Fruit Company in Worcester for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be sadly missed.
A memorial service for Michael will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, 1290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, P.O. Box 2200, Jefferson, MA 01522.
