Dorothy Jean (Lavallee) Anderson

HUBBARDSTON - Dorothy J. (LaVallee) Anderson, 73, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 26, 2017. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Walter Hannah and Jean LaVallee, and has lived in Hubbardston for over 50 years. The love of her life, and husband for 37 years, Paul Anderson, passed away in 2001. She is survived by her son, Mark Anderson of North Brookfield; her daughter, Laurie Francis of Worcester; her grandchildren, Nicola Torello and David Paul Francis both of Worcester; and her best friend of many years, Judith Civiok of Longmeadow, who she recently took a month long trip to Alaska. Together with her late husband, Dorothy co-managed "The Coffee Shop" restaurant in Princeton, retiring in 2001. Dorothy loved the solitude of the outdoors and had been an avid motorcyclist in her early years. A private funeral service was previously held.
