WEST BOYLSTON – Dorothy A. (Dunn) Shea, 84, of 231 Maple St., formerly of Holden, died on Friday, December 31, 2004 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband of 40 years, William J. Shea died in 1977. She leaves a granddaughter, Jennifer L. O’Malley and her husband Kevin of West Boylston; and two great granddaughters, Shea V. and Emma B. O’Malley both of West Boylston. Her daughter, Barbara A. Dwyer of West Boylston died in 1991. Three brothers, William, Albert and Robert Dunn, and her stepfather, George Heinig predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Louis F. and Agnes (Moroney) Dunn and lived many years in Holden and two years in West Boylston. Mrs. Shea was a dental assistant in the Worcester area for several years. She was a member of St. George’s Church in Worcester. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and at the West Boylston Senior Center.
A funeral Mass for Mrs. Shea will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 3 in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, is directing arrangements.
