HOLDEN - Doris A. Malooly, 85, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, in Holden Nursing Home after an illness.
She leaves a brother, Philip Malooly of Holden; nephews and nieces including, Tina McCaffrey of Leicester, Naomi Andre of Auburn, Clifford Malooly of Auburn, Daniel E. and Ronald J. Malooly both of Holden; grand-nephews and nieces including Amy M., Heather L., Christopher, Andrew, and Timothy Malooly; a great grand-niece, Alexandra Malooly; and relatives within the Halal family. Two brothers, Nicklas and George Malooly, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Coprasey) Malooly, and lived most of her life in Holden.
Miss. Malooly was a self-employed hairdresser for many years. She was a member of St. George’s Orthodox Cathedral in Worcester and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and attending Broadway shows.
The funeral service for Miss. Malooly will be held at 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 14, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Calling hours are from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 14, in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Grove Cemetery, 1290 Main Street, Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. George’s Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
