HOLDEN - Donna M. (Sieniuc) Sullivan-Tilson, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Sigmund J. “Zig” and Dimitra M. “Dee” (Pappas) Sieniuc, and was raised in the Quinsigamond Village area of Worcester. She graduated from Worcester schools. Donna was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for over 30 years. She was known for her professional, gentle and compassionate care. She enjoyed traveling, trips to the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She had a love for her three cats.
Donna leaves her devoted husband of 10 years, Louis D. Tilson; her daughter, Valerie J. Sullivan of Holden; her son, Patrick A. Sullivan of Brighton; her two step-sons, Richard A. Tilson of Clinton and Bryan A. Tilson of Missouri; her four sisters, Valerie J. Degnan (John) of Sturbridge, Linda C. Jackson (Paul) and Vera M. Broga, all of Florida, and Patricia M. Dymek of Leicester. She also leaves her uncle, Angelo T. Pappas, and her aunt, Joan R. Sieniuc, both of Worcetser; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Donna was predeceased by her first husband, Charles B. Sullivan in 1993, her brother, Gary S. Sieniuc and her sister, Maria C. Besaw.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral celebrating Donna's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
