Donna J. (Lindquist) Ericson

WORCESTER – Donna J. (Lindquist) Ericson, age 75, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus, surrounded by the loving presence of her family.
Born in Worcester, Donna was the daughter of Kenneth Lindquist and Ruth (Hanson) Lucier.
She was a member of the first graduating class of Burncoat Senior High School. She worked for State Mutual and married her high school sweetheart Stephen P. Ericson. Donna stayed home to raise her children while helping with the family photography business. She was an active and engaged parent: serving on the PTO, volunteering in the classroom, hosting the sleepovers, driving her children and their friends all around, and was a scout leader and cookie mom for many years.. Donna worked for many years at Sam’s Club. The role she loved the best though, was becoming a Grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and spoiled them as much as she could! They were the joy of her life!
Donna will be lovingly missed and remembered by her beloved children, Kristina Clarke and her husband, Thomas of Holden, Lisa Thompson and her husband, William of West Boylston,, and Stephen Ericson of Worcester; her sister, Linda (Lucier) Farmer of Worcester; her brothers, Russell Lindquist and his wife, Pam of San Dimas, CA, and Lawrence Lindquist and his wife, Barbara of Worcester; and her cherished grandchildren, Emily Clarke, Erica Thompson, and Caroline “Relic” Thompson.
Services will be private. arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at UMASS Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, especially the Palliative Care Team and the doctors and nurses in the Neuro ICU.
