HOLDEN – Donald M. Rossier, 83, formerly of Main Street, died Friday, June 25, 2004, in the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester.
His wife of 23 years, Jeanne P. (Bigelow) Rossier, died in 2003. His first wife, Elizabeth (Stuart) Rossier, died in 1980. He leaves a son, Chester D. Rossier of Paxton; two daughters, Sandra A. Church of Hyde Park, Vermont, and Donna M. Ward of Belmont, New Hampshire; a stepdaughter, Ruth Bull of Princeton; a stepson, Edward Cole of Holden; and two grandchildren. He was born and raised in Paxton, the son of Chester M. and Ruth M. (Potter) Rossier, and lived in Holden for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW.
Mr. Rossier worked for Reed Rolled Thread Co. in Holden.
Mr. Rossier’s funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. A calling hour will be from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on June 29, in the funeral home.
