Biography

RUTLAND/WORCESTER - Dolores C. (Bolivar) Sawicki Bragg, 89, formerly of Rutland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her first husband, Stephen Sawicki died in 1961.

Dolores leaves a daughter, Mary Lambert of Leicester; two brothers, Lehman Bolivar and his wife, Ruth of West Boylston and Kenneth Bolivar and his wife, Stella of Ft. Myers, Florida; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Edwin and Idella (Frederick) Bolivar, Dolores is predeceased by her husband, John Bragg, her son, Robert Sawicki, her daughter, Linda Clark, a brother, Stanley Bolivar and a sister, Doris Bolivar.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Rutland and a longtime nurse's aide at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be held privately at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. In remembrance of Dolores, memorial donations may be made to the activities fund at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 40 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
