BOYLSTON – Jon D. Miles, 70, of Main Street, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 9, 2009.
He leaves his wife of 46 years, Annette L. (Marois) Miles; two sons, David J. Miles and his wife Lynn of Granby, CT and Matthew J. Miles and his wife Kimberly of Worcester; two brothers, James and D. Wesley Miles, both of Hawaii; three sisters, Donna Morgantini of Chester, PA, Jane Miles of Plymouth and Margaret Hague of Vernon, CT; five grandchildren, Timothy, Erin, Jennifer, Evan and Cameron; many nephews and nieces. A sister, Mary Miles, predeceased him.
Jon was born in Holden, a son of James D. and Mary L. (Joslin) Miles. He was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and Worcester Junior College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 – 1962 and was a Purchasing Manager at Jamesbury Corporation in Worcester.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 14th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
