WEST BOYLSTON/STERLING – Dixie Lee (Brown) Brown, 91, beloved wife of the late Earl Brown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and raised in Granby, VT, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Helen (Buzzel) Brown.
Dixie Lee enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and her dogs , maintaining her house and yard, and vacationing at Myrtle Beach. Her Christian faith was important to her, and she was involved in church ministry and fellowship for many years with her husband. She was a machine operator for several local companies including Van Brode, Inc. and Nyproline and as a Walmart Greeter.
Dixie Lee will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Charles and his wife, Karin, her two daughters, Cindy and Angela, stepdaughters Sandy and Joanne, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her son Richard, her brother Ernest, her stepson Terry, and her stepdaughter Heather.
Dixie Lee was a grateful woman and on her behalf her family would like to extend their appreciation to all for the love shared and kindness shown to her throughout her life.
