HUBBARDSTON - Desmond A. Ahearn, infant son of Michael J. Ahearn, Jr. and Emily Gilbert Ahearn, passed away on June 8, 2014. He is survived by his twin brother, Caiden Michael Ahearn; older brother, Camden Stone Ahearn; maternal grandparents, Patty and Wayne Gilbert of Sterling; paternal grandparents, Margaret and Michael J. Ahearn, Sr., of Worcester; maternal great-grandmother, Rita Smith of Queens, NY; three aunts, Melody Gilbert of Sterling, Abbey Ahearn Sloper and her husband, Steven of Weare, NH, Emily A. Ahearn and her fiancé, Michael Jean Pierre of Brooklyn, NY; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services and burial will be private. Donations may be made to the UMass Medicine Development Office, NICU Fund, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
