Biography
SUTTON - Delmore Cohen, 81 of Sutton, died on Friday, July 24, 2015 in UMass Memorial Healthcare, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 49 years, Linda (Barrette) Cohen of Sutton; a son, Mitchell Cohen of Manchaug and his daughter, Teresa wife of Gerald Hastings of Auburn. He was predeceased by his brother, Milton Cohen.
Delmore was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and raised in Worcester a son of Max and Fannie (Cooperberg) Cohen, and had lived in Sutton for 20 years before moving to Manchaug in 1990.
With his wife, Linda, he owned and operated a kennel in Sutton for many years.
Above all, he loved his family.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI AT 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester.
Calling hours will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
