Everyone who loved Delaney knew a human angel. She was creative and kind, a beautiful young woman. In any given day she could be forceful, strong, sensitive and caring, quiet and loud.
Delaney was a gifted artist, using her talent to express deep feelings and a passion for life. She loved the natural world, including animals, flowers, plants and stones. Selfless and thoughtful, she championed the underdog and people in need. Our dear sweet angel made her way here and left us more gifts than sorrow. Her sensitivity was too much for the world. She held all a human heart can and leaves a legacy of perseverance in the midst of her personal and physical struggle.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, September 9, at St. Mary’s Church, 77 Mendon Street, Uxbridge. Her family will visit with family and friends immediately following at Blissful Meadows Golf Club,801 Chockalog Road, Uxbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to

Our intent is to use these proceeds to help Dr. Anne Powell at UMASS Worcester's Eating Disorder Outpatient Program. She was an integral part of our journey with Delaney. She understood our struggles with compassion and professionalism. She went above and beyond to offer her expertise at those times we felt entirely abandoned in the system. We thank you for honoring Delaney with us, while we rally to help others suffering in a similar way.
