Debra Ann Saucier
July 20, 1960 — March 26, 2023
WORCESTER – Debra Ann (Goodrich) Saucier, age 62, died Sunday March 26th surrounded by her loving family and close friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Debra will be lovingly missed and remembered by her two children, Jessi-Lee Lapointe of Leicester, and Daniel Saucier of Worcester; her mother, Rose Marie Goodrich of Worcester; her sisters, Juliann Riendeau and her husband, Raymond of North Brookfield, and Cheryl Cox of Worcester; her brothers, Jeffrey Goodrich and his wife, Stephanie of Acworth, Georgia, and Rick Goodrich and his wife, Kimberly of Oxford; and her cherished grandchildren, Julia, Jared, Dylan and Jaylee. Debra also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many very dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Wayne F. Goodrich, Sr., and her brothers, Michael Goodrich, Wayne Goodrich, Jr., and Kevin Goodrich.
Born in Worcester, Debra was the daughter of Wayne and Rose Marie (Sloan) Goodrich and was a lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts.
Debra pursued a long career in the field of accounting, most recently a supervisor for Imperial Distributors. Debra loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as friends and family. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when anyone needed her. She had many friends and was so loved by many. She enjoyed being outside in nature and truly appreciated everything life had to offer. She was a very positive uplifting person. Debra truly had a beautiful soul and touched everyone who was blessed to have known her.
Debra’s family and friends will gather to honor her memory on Saturday, April 15th at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, with Calling Hours from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, and a Memorial Service immediately following at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Abbey, 167 N. Spencer Road, Spencer, MA 01562 ( www.spencerabbey.org/support-the-abbey ).
