WEST BOYLSTON – Debra E. Parks, 55, of Franklin Street, died on Monday, July 22, 2013 in Holy Trinity Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Worcester after a lifelong battle with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Debra was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late Earl W. and Kathleen E. (Mellen) Parks and had lived in West Boylston for several years.
Debra graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester. She was an active member of the Greendale People’s Community Church in Worcester and served on many of its committees. As an avid crafter her accomplishments amazed everyone who saw them. She was very passionate about knitting. Her love for tending gardens produced beautiful flowerbeds. Canning with friends for the church fair and taking care of her beloved mini schnauzers, Lady Bug and Cricket all gave her great joy in life.
She is survived by her nephew, Tyler W. Supernor, her sister, Peggy S. Supernor, and Peggy’s husband Harold Supernor, all of West Boylston; her family including Susan and Peter Palmer of East Dorset VT along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her deeply. She was also greatly loved by many friends including Bette Staruk of Worcester.
