RUTLAND – Debra L. (Horstman) Gibree, 53, passed away at home on Friday, March 19, 2010, after a short illness.
She leaves her son, Anthony F. Brodeur and his wife Julie of Jefferson; her companion, David E. Bliss, Jr. of Rutland; three brothers, Paul F. Horstman, Joseph H. Horstman and his wife Wendy and Alan W. Horstman and his wife Jennifer, all of Jefferson; three sisters, Anne M. Schofield of Jefferson, Christine M. Crutcher and her husband Thomas of Rutland and Jean F. Dejoinville and her husband Joseph of Jefferson; her step-mother, Mary R. (Hall) Horstman of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Kayla M. and Brandon A. Brodeur; and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Frederick W. and Loretta (Rosiello) Horstman, Jr. and lived in Holden before moving to Rutland 14 years ago.
Debra was a medical secretary for the Central Massachusetts Anesthesia Affiliates, Inc. in Worcester for 17 years. Recently she worked in the data processing department at UMass Memorial, before leaving due to illness. She attended St. Mary's Church and was a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary and the Brookfield Horseshoe Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 21st, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Debra's funeral will be held on Monday, March 22nd, from the funeral home with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to St. Mary's Church Building Fund, P.O.
