HOLDEN – Deborah G. (Whittington) Nolan, 54, of 2 Ruthven Avenue, Worcester, formerly of Holden, died at home on Thursday, December 14, 2006, after a battle with melanoma.
She leaves three daughters, Kim D. Blais-Terrell and her husband Sean of Upton, Heather M. Nolan and her future husband Aaron Gould of Worcester and Malinda J. Nolan of Worcester; her father, Thomas E. Whittington, Jr. of Florida; her brother, Thomas E. Whittington III of Portsmouth, Rhode Island; three sisters, Sandra Gatley of Grafton, Dianna Migliozzi of Lynchburg, Virginia and Cynthia Jackson of Attleboro; a granddaughter, Chloe A. Terrell; and her former husband, Matthew J. Nolan of Holden. She was born in Belleville, Illinois, daughter of the late Elsie M. (Johnson) Whittington, and lived over 20 years in Holden before moving to Worcester.
Deborah was a 1970 graduate of Westboro High School. She held numerous positions at Spectrum Health Systems in Worcester and Westboro, most recently as Intake Manager Outpatient Division. She was also a facilitator with domestic violence programs.
The funeral service for Deborah will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 18, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701; or VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608-1280.
