HOLDEN – David H. Pearson, 62, of Holden St., passed away after a long illness Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Vibra Hospital in Leicester. David was born in Worcester, the son of Harold E. and Barbara J. (Mandell) Pearson and lived his entire life in Holden.
David graduated from Worcester Academy and owned and operated Pearson Electric in Holden for many years. His interests included boating, fishing and gardening. First and foremost, David was a devoted father.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 29 years, Linda S. (Carrin) Pearson. He leaves his daughter, Erika N. Pearson of Uxbridge; his dog and faithful companion, Lexie; his brother, Dennis C. Pearson and his wife, Catherine of West Boylston; his brother-in-law, Paul N. Carrin and his wife, Connie of Worcester; his uncle, Matthew Mandell of California; three nephews, Scott, Todd and Mark Pearson; his cousins, Joyce Pope of NH, Ronald Friberg of Princeton and Thomas Yacuzzi of Dudley; and two grandnieces.
A funeral service honoring David’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 17 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be private at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics Gymnastic Learning Center, 574 Lake St., Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
