Biography
HOLDEN – David E. Paine, 55, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was born in Rochester, NY, the son of Raymond and Glennys (Underwood) Paine.
David leaves his wife of 34 years, Barbara (Pockett) Paine, his sons, Joshua Paine and his wife, Jessica of Rochester, NY and Daniel Paine and his wife, Meghan of Atlanta, GA; his daughter, Breanna Paine of Rochester, NY; his brother-in-law Daniel Pockett and his wife, Renee of Hilton, NY and his precious grandchildren, William and Delilah.
He graduated from Hilton High School in 1976. His career at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY spanned more than 30 years. He continued his work as a technician for Dow Chemical Co. in Marlborough after relocating to Massachusetts three years ago. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and LA Dodgers, enjoyed photography, chess, and Civil War history, but the true love of his life was his family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, at 1:00 p.m. at Orchard Community Church, 2285 Latta Road, Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lollypop Farm Humane Society, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or donate online, www.lollypop.org .
