David Lee Morrison

STERLING/FITCHBURG – David L. Morrison, Jr., 44, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born in Concord, the son of the late David L. Morrison and had previously lived in Littleton and California.
David was a artist who worked with oils and acrylics and made his own jewelry. He loved to sing and dance and was extraordinarily kind to people who were less fortunate than him. He will be sadly missed.
He leaves his mother, Rosalind K. (Dodge) Morrison and her husband Chip Mercurio of Sterling; five sisters, Lavonne Miller, Chrissie Barrera, Barbie Shelton, Desiree McFadden and Heather Rios; two brothers, Greg Morrison and Chris Mercurio; their respective spouses and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan.11, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan 12 in The First Church in Sterling, 6 Meeting House Hill Road. A private committal service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Worcester ( http://ihnworcester.org )
