WESTMINSTER - David S. Milton, Jr., 60, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 9, 2024. David was born in Worcester, the cherished son of Linda (Stratton) and David Milton, Sr., and graduated from Wachusett High School with the class of 1982.
David pursued his passion for cooking after attending Worcester State College. He embarked on a culinary career, leaving a flavorful mark in several local restaurants, including the former Blue Plate in Holden. He also ventured into entrepreneurship, owning the restaurant "Cross Roads" in Damariscotta, Maine, for a period. In recent years, he found joy in crafting culinary delights and mixing drinks at the VFW Post 7389 in Westminster.
An accomplished athlete in his youth, David excelled in various sports such as baseball, hockey, and football. Later in life, he cultivated his talent on the golf course and showcased his prowess on the tennis court.
David is survived by his parents, Linda (Stratton) Milton and David Milton, Sr. of Princeton; his sister, Laura Guion, and her husband, Clifford, of Waitsfield, VT; his niece, Katie Shearer, and her husband, Ben, along with their children, Amelia and Valerie, of Charlotte, VT; as well as numerous cherished friends and colleagues.
Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend memorial calling hours from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Interment will be held privately.
