HOLDEN – David E. Munger, 57, of 75 South Road, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, in Umass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
He is the beloved husband of Peggy A. (Byrnes) Munger; loving father of Meg A. Beriau of West Newbury, Melissa Kaleskas of Worcester, Emily K, Elizabeth L. and Cameron E. Munger all of Holden; dearest son of Robert E. and Sophie T. (Taggert) Munger of Holden; beloved Papa of Molly Kaleskas, Ellie and Casey Beriau. He leaves a loving extended family and many close friends. A brother, Steven Munger, predeceased him. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and lived 28 years in Holden.
Mr. Munger was a manufacturer representative and owned and operated Manufacturing Systems of New England in Holden for many years. He graduated from Newtown High School in Newtown, Connecticut, and Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.
The funeral for Mr. Munger will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 26, in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to TEMPO, c/o Ms. Miriam Jensen, Music Booster’s Association, Wachusett Regional High School, 1401 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520; or the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
