SHREWSBURY – Daniel A. Dubay, 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.
Born and raised in Providence, RI, he was a son of Shirley (Allaire) Dubay and the late Bruce R. Dubay. He was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School where he was a member of the football team. Dan went on to enjoy a long career as a car salesman for several car dealerships. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and following the Oakland Raiders. Above all else, Dan was a devoted and loving family man. He lived his life with a strong sense of integrity and upstanding character, traits that he instilled in his children.
He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his son, Nathan Dubay; his daughter, Sophia Dubay; his mother, Shirley Dubay all of Worcester; his three brothers, Stephen Dubay and his wife, Tracy, Thomas Dubay and his wife Cindy all of Worcester and David Dubay and his wife, Allison of Bellingham; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, John Dubay and his sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Dubay.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with his family from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
