PRINCETON – Dan Kohlstrom, 38, of Ware, passed away suddenly in Afghanistan on Thursday, September 10, 2009.
He leaves his loving wife of 8 months, Tiffany (Kovitch) Kohlstrom; two children, Zachary and Sydney from Indiana and his mother, Beverly R. Kohlstrom of Princeton. He was predeceased by his father, Leonard Kohlstrom in 1991. He will be sadly missed by a large family on both sides and many friends.
Dan served his Country for 14 years in the Special Forces 1st Group Division of the U.S. Army and more currently as a medic with a government contracted company. He worked part time as a fitness instructor for Aerobic Asylum in Palmer. He also enjoyed photography.
Dan was a kind, generous, energetic loving husband, dad, son and friend to everyone he came in contact with. When he walked into a room you instantly felt loved by him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 18th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. The funeral service for Dan will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 19th in the funeral home.
