STERLING/MONTGOMERY, VT ~ Russell C. Perry, Jr., 53, formerly of Sterling, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 20, 2010 in Vermont.
He is survived by two daughters, Heather T. Boudreau and her husband James of Gardner and Heidi E. Perry of Clinton; three grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary Meuer, and Hayden Boudreau; his best friend and girlfriend with whom he lived, Sheila M. St. Cyr; his father, Russell C. Perry, Sr. of North Brookfield; a brother, Wayne A. Perry and his wife Carol of North Brookfield; two sisters, Elaine Mann and her husband Deane of Pennsylvania and Carla Caulk and her husband Kelly of New Jersey; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends. He was born in Clinton the son of the late, Dorothy L. (Mann) Perry and had lived in Sterling for many years before moving to Vermont in 2008.
Russell graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1976 and was a truck driver for the AmeriGas Company in Sheldon, VT. Previously, he worked for Peterson Oil Company in Worcester for 30 years. He was a hay farmer and owned and operated Fieldstone Land Management Company in Sterling. He was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He enjoyed snowmobiling, 4 Wheeling and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 26th in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. The funeral service for Russell will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 27th in the funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
