S Concettina 'Connie' Oliver

RUTLAND – Concettina “Connie” L. (Cavallaro) Oliver, 82, of 85 Emerald Road, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Kindred Hospital, Leicester, after an illness.

Her husband of 34 years, William J. Oliver, died in 1983. She leaves a son, William J. Oliver, Jr. and his wife Leah of Rutland; a daughter, Patricia A. Marsh and her husband Dwight of Rutland; a sister, Phyllis Solaperto of Rutland; a brother, Lawrence Cavallaro of New Hampshire; 4 grandchildren, Derek J. Oliver and his fiancee Lisa Castelli of Jefferson, Julie E. Marsh and her fiance Mark Connolly of Cherry Valley, Robyn M. Mills and her husband Dennis of Spencer and Adam D.W. Marsh and his wife April of Belmont, NH; 3 great-grandchildren, Catie, Jenna and Jacob; nephews and nieces. A son, James E. Oliver, died in August of 2003. A brother Fred Cavallaro, and an infant sister Rita Cavallaro, predeceased her. She was born in Methuen, raised in Lawrence, daughter of Salvatore A. and Virgencia (Palmisano) Cavallaro, and has lived in Rutland since 1949. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. She lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 24th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Mrs. Oliver will be held on Monday, June 25th, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, 142 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland.
