WORCESTER – Clifford W. Fife, Jr. 60, of 19 Fairhaven Road, died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, May 24, 2005.
He leaves his wife of 13 years, Donna L. Fife; a brother, Robert E. Fife of South Yarmouth; two sisters, Annette P. Fife of Worcester and Viola T. Wardell of Worcester; three nieces; several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was born in Worcester, lived many years in Holden and later lived 15 years in Worcester.
Mr. Fife graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden and worked at Komtek Technologies in Worcester for over 35 years. He was a member of the Greendale People’s Church in Worcester and the West Boylston Lion’s Club. He was an active member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and belonged to both the Naomi Rebekah and Canton Lodges in Worcester and the Springfield Lodge in Springfield. He was the Treasurer and Past Grand Patriarch of the Order of the Grand Encampment of Massachusetts, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
The funeral for Mr. Fife will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, in Greendale People’s Church, 25 Francis Sreet, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Order of the Grand Encampment of Massachusetts members will conduct an Odd Fellow Service during calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Funds for Renewal, Greendale People’s Church, P.O.
