WORCESTER – Cleo H. Booth, 88, entered into eternal rest on July 22, 2005 in the Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center with their loving staff by his side. They were his lifeline for the last 7 months and gave him exceptional care.

His beloved wife, Marguerite L. (Benoit) Booth passed away on July 26, 1993 after 42 years together. He leaves a daughter, Maureen A. Buckley and her husband James of Hyde Park, New York; four grandchildren, David Buckley of Beacon, New York, Carolyn Petramale and her husband Joe of Roswell, Georgia, Gregory Buckley and his wife, Kerry of Somers, New York, Christopher Buckley of Pleasant Valley, New York; eight great-grandchildren, Jamie Buckley of Providence, Rhode Island, Dan Buckley of Poughkeepsie, New Yor, Lia and Josh Petramale of Roswell, Georgia, Connor and Devin Buckley of Somers, New York, Lauren and Nicole Buckley of Pleasant Valley, New York. These grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of his life. He will be greatly missed and loved always by his family. Seven brothers and sisters predeceased him.

He was born in Leominster on December 28, 1916, son of Parker and Mira (Storey) Booth. He graduated from Leominster High School before moving to Worcester. He worked for John J. Nissen Baking Company for many years, retiring in 1981. He later worked at Holy Cross College where he again made many friends. To know him was to love him & we loved him very much.

The funeral for Mr. Booth will be held from the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte.12), Sterling on Monday August 1, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, in the funeral home.
