HOLDEN – Clement P. Clark, 88, of 78 Paugas Road, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at home.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Marjorie (Clough) Clark; a daughter, Carol C. Hunter of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Two sons, Wayne D. Clark and Donald P. Clark, and two brothers, Philip Clark and Robert Clark, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of William E. and Mary E. (Evans) Clark, and lived in Princeton before moving to Holden in 1985. He attended Worcester Public Schools and was a graduate of WPI School of Industrial Management.
Mr. Clark worked for the Norton Company, Worcester, for 29 years in a variety of staff and production positions, including Chief Industrial Engineer and Works Manager of their England operation. He was a member of the Norton Alumni Exchange Club. He was a very active member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and a former member of the Park Avenue Methodist Church.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Clark will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 21, in the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1048 Main Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1048 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603; or to VNA Care Network, Development Office, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
