PRINCETON - Clarence O. Haskins, 90, of 30 Wheeler Road, died at home on Saturday, June 25, 2005.
His wife of 61 years, Gertrude L. (Wilson) Haskins, died in 1998. He leaves two sons, Walter W. Haskins of Troy, New York and Richard A. Haskins of Sutton; a daughter, Lillian G. Parker of Sutton; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and several step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Princeton, son of Walter and Sarah (Morris) Haskins, and lived there his whole life.
Mr. Haskins worked for the Boston and Maine Railroad for 20 years, later for the Wachusett Regional High School for 20 years before retiring in 1975. He enjoyed gardening and driving his scooter around town.
The funeral service for Mr. Haskins will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Connor Lane, Princeton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, in the funeral home.
