Biography
WORCESTER - Christopher Michael Pittman, 53, of Worcester passed away on Thursday, November 20 at UMass Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle against liver disease.
His proudest accomplishment was as father to his cherished sons Jarryd, Dylan and Cameron Pittman and more recently as doting grandfather to Lilliani Pittman, all of Worcester. A graduate of Manter Hall School and Newbury College, Chris grew up in Waltham and is remembered with love by his siblings David (and Dianne) Pittman of Haverhill, MA, and Michele (and Lee) Wrubel of Westport, CT, his daughter-in-law-to-be Alyssa Joyce, and his dearest friend Irene Stevens Pittman. Chris was predeceased by his parents Robert and Natalie (Balian) Pittman and his uncle George Balian. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Coalition to Cure Calpain 3 (CureCalpain3.org).
Funeral services are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
