WORCESTER – Christopher C. Maloney, 33, of 60 Salisbury Street, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2004.
He leaves his mother, Christine L. (Kenney) Maloney with whom he lived; his father, David C. Maloney of Worcester and East Orleans; a sister, Laura L. and her husband Darin J. Lonergan of Brookfield, Connecticut; a niece and a nephew, Caroline and William Lonergan both of Brookfield, Connecticut; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher was born and raised in Worcester. He graduated from the Bancroft School in Worcester, and the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. He worked at the Wychmere Harbor Club in Chatham, and the Sunnenalp Resort in Vail, Colorado. He also worked in Seattle, Washington and in Key Largo, Florida. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed photography, camping, sailing, traveling and skiing.
The funeral for Christopher will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2004, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden with a Mass at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2004, in the funeral home.
