Biography
HOLDEN - Christine M. (Christenson) Manning, 99, died peacefully at home on Thursday, January 8, 2015, following a brief illness. She was born in Shrewsbury, daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Nelson) Christenson.

Christine was the beloved wife of the late Harvey E. Manning, who died in 1989. She was predeceased by her first husband, Larry Monson and by her eight siblings. A dedicated homemaker, Christine loved her family and adored spending time with and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an accomplished musician, and entertained her family and friends while playing the piano and organ. A wonderful family memory includes Christine playing Amazing Grace for everyone to enjoy.

She leaves her son and caregiver, Richard H. Manning; her daughter, Sandra C. Myer of Ionia, MI; her grandchildren, Kim and Karen; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Crystal and Tonya; as well as 5 great-great grandchildren, and extended family in Michigan, California and Washington.
