WORCESTER - Charlotte J. (Cutler) Koocher, age 94, died Wednesday, June 6, at her residence.Her husband of 65 years, David Koocher, died in 2009. She leaves two daughters, Nina, wife of Bernard Elbaum of Santa Cruz, CA, and Frankee Koocher of Brookline, MA; a grandson, Joshua Elbaum. She is predeceased by a daughter, Nina Sue Koocher, a brother, Frank Cutler and a sister Betty Silver.She was born in Worcester, a daughter of B. H. Cutler and Clara (Bogage) Cutler, and was a lifelong resident.She was an office manager for B. H. Cutler Roofing.She was member of Congregation Beth Israel and its Sisterhood, Worcester Chapter of Hadassah and National Council of Jewish Women. She was an active volunteer at the gift shop of the Jewish Healthcare Center as well as Rachel’s Table and the Jewish Family Service. She enjoyed classical music and was one of the founding members of W.I.S.E. and enrolled in many classes throughout the years.She was always thinking of other people. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12:00 NOON AT CONGREGATION BETH ISRAEL, 15 JAMESBURY DRIVE, WORCESTER ON FRIDAY, JUNE 8TH UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in B’nai Brith Cemetery. Memorial Observance will be held through Friday afternoon at the residence of Richard and Bonnie Silver, at 49 Ellis Drive. Memorial Observance will continue 2 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, June 10th at the family residence.Memorial Contributions may be made to either Congregation Beth Israel, 15 Jamesbury Drive, Worcester, MA 01609 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
