WELLS, ME/HOLDEN, MA – Chandra L. (Smith) Bratko-Mange, age 65, passed away on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Born in Holden, she was the daughter of the late Chandler and Conjetta (McQuaid) Smith.
Chandra grew up in Holden, graduating from the Wachusett Regional High School, class of 1977. She went on to work as a secretary in the medical field and as a customer service representative. She raised her family in her hometown of Holden. She was very supportive and always there for her children.
She was a talented artist who enjoyed calligraphy. As many knew, she always had good taste in clothing. She was stylish and fashionable. She loved all animals, especially her late dog Buddy. She enjoyed reading a good novel and the front porch in her house in Wells, ME.
She loved to gamble at any casino. Playing slots locally at both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods were her favorite. She was big into music, where she was known to dance in the car. Later in life, she would spend the nicer weather at her home in Wells, ME with her husband.
She is survived by her loving husband, George M. Mange; 2 sons, Nicholas Bratko and his wife, Chelsea of Worcester, Jared Bratko of Holden; a sister, Cathy Oliveri of Hubbardston; and a granddaughter, Isabella Bratko. She is predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Ayer.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 13th, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, June 14th, at Grove Cemetery in Holden.
