Biography
WORCESTER – Ceril E. (Werblin) Glass, age 79, died on Friday, October 28, 2016 in the Jewish Healthcare Center peacefully with her family by her side.
She leaves a son, Michael Glass of Worcester; three daughters, Andrea, wife of Richard Zona of Worcester, Karen, wife of Attila Kara of East Douglas, Robin, wife of Rick Jones of Holland, MA; and three grandchildren, Attila Kara, Kaleena Kara and Kayley Jones. She was predeceased by a longtime companion, Harold Sloane.
She was a lifelong resident of Worcester and the daughter of Archie and Rose Werblin.
Along with extensive traveling throughout her lifetime, she enjoyed spending time with her close family and friends and playing mah-jong. She was a member of the Beth Israel Synagogue and the Worcester Chapter of Hadassah.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 30th at B'nai Brith Cemetery on St. John's Road in Worcester under the direction of Miles Funeral Home in Holden.
Memorial Observance and Reception will be announced at the time of the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
